Reviews for The Handmaid's Tale

A good premise that wears off as the series progresses. But overall it's a good show

They should have never given us uniforms if they didn't want us to be an army. i haven't rewatched this show's first seasons in a minute... but yeah season one is the best. it's all thanks to Atwood's writing, but all the changes from the book also work very well. the whole cast is phenomenal, espe

So gripping and suspenseful but became pretty slow and repetitive by the latest season. Still has one of the best and most aesthetically pleasing cinematography and sets I've seen in any show.

I AM HAVING WITHDRAWALS I MISS THIS SHOW SO MUCH

women will always create communities !! women will always create communities!!

Love the final scene! The dynamics between Serena and June were the highlight of the season and that final scene made for a great set-up for the sixth & final season. Can’t wait!!!

okay, first of all i feel like this is rated criminally low on serialzd, that just suprised me. season 1 at least. i think this was a masterpiece. i am grateful that it just exists. and the acting oh my god. june, serena, insanee. alexis bledellll oh my god i dont even like gilmore girls but i lit

This season had a rocky start but quickly picked up the pace. I just wonder how the last season is going to finish the story off

June has gone too far this season...

Once again it was a good season - it was slightly different than the first bit i still enjoyed it. This season really showed that no one is safe in the society of Gilead.

June is finally free...

I want Rita backstory

The first season of The Handmaid’s Tale is amazing Elizabeth Moss did a phenomenal job portraying June.

First season of this show was absolutely fantastic , amazing storytelling, great character development and beautiful cinematography (lowkey one of the best in TV) best character: June Best ep : Night

After a rocky but still well made first half, the rest of the season is explosive and offers probably my favorite season finale so far. Moss is wonderful as ever, but it’s Yvonne Strahovski who puts in the finest work this season.

I started this series with no particular expectations and I'm so surprised and happy to have enjoyed this season so much that I saw it in just 1 day because I was so invested. An excellent setting for a dystopian universe, with beautiful cinematography and impressive acting. It's been a long time s

The one spot Gilead fucked up on is putting women in this environment and not expecting them to conspire with each other. Women WILL form bonds with each other and DESTROY you. You do not fuck with a woman who’s trapped, and you CERTAINLY do not fuck with a women who’s a mother. Fantastic fucking se

The story was a bit slow this season but it was worth the ending

Let me ask you a simple question: why do we need this show? What does it do aside from being intentionally triggering? It's fucking obvious that if some specific group of people given power they would take the abortion rights (which has already happened in the US), put queer people in prison for bei

Well, my 9th rewatch has concluded. One month until the long awaited final season, praise be! The nearly three year wait has been long but I think this last season will be so worth the wait. Season Six predictions: - That train will be halted by Gilead obvi - Janine will get out of Gilead - June
