It always ALMOST gets there but doesn't quite land. I still enjoyed what it was doing and I love Himesh Patel!

It was fine.

a second season would be a surprise, but i wouldn't mind it. great group of actors/characters and it's always fun to see how movies/tv shows are made. plus i love those bonus clips during end credits.

Absolutely adored the cast and the comedy was on point. Had so much fun with this show!

Great series. I would have deffinatly loved a season 2, but it was really entertaining and deffinatly an interesting watch on a dramatised film set. Makes me want to be a 1st AD even more !!!

internalising panic 🫡

When it’s good, it’s GOOD. There are some rough patches and it takes a bit to really find its groove but by the second half of the season I was hooked. It’s funny and clever and pokes so much fun at Hollywood and the mcu. The cast is so brilliant and everyone is hilarious.

Overall I would say I enjoyed this. It had a lot of really solid satire and the comedy played really well between the cast, but it often played things too safe I feel. It made fun of the industry and its challenges, but on a very surface level that never seemed to want to go too far out of fear of becoming offensive. But it was funny. It was witty. The issues with the production created a steady flow of drama. All around I’m looking forward to a second season if they do so because I think they have a lot of untapped potential still and an amazing group of people on the screen who were made for this kind of parody

Mmm... a lot of missed potential that could be fixed with shaper writing, unfortunately, going by that ending, they trusted a bit too much that they'd get to fix that in upcoming seasons. Performances were great, thought. If (however unlikely) this gets to continue, I'll be there for sure, though.

Me sorprendió a bien pero también a mal… Me encanta la sátira y burla que hacen hacia el mundo del entretenimiento y más en específico a Hollywood, donde se puede ver la cotidianidad de las personas que trabajan para esta Industria y todo lo que puede salir mal, siendo esta una gran premisa, no llega a desarrollar del todo a sus personajes, me refiero a que si, son personas comunes, pero lo interesante de eso es verlos crecer en lo mínimo, por qué tienen ese potencial de explotar esa premisa con sus personajes, por qué la historia en sí se basa en sus protagonistas. No es mala, teniendo en cuenta que me divertí viendo cada domingo un episodio de esta sería después de ver el pingüino, pero este es el final que se merecía?… Y aquí el problema, tienen bastante “fe” de que vayan a hacer una segunda temporada considerando que es Warner y más específicos HBO, donde o es una gran serie y hacen una segunda temporada o lo cancelan, el último episodio puede ser considerado Meta, por qué literalmente nos vendieron una segunda temporada si el público lo desea, dándonos un final Agridulce y sin concluir nada. Dejando todo lo anterior mencionado, vean esta serie, si están interesados en el mundo del entretenimiento y en si en las producciones pueden encontrar una serie en la que pueden decir “jaja soy ese”.

All in all I had a good time watching this little show. Whether I get to see a season 2 is probably unlikely. It was eye opening to watch to say the least. Some funny moments and it kept me entertained

Desde el minuto 1 era carne de cancelación, pero a pesar de que efectivamente HBO se la ha cargado, me lo pasé muy bien viéndola. Las comedias sobre rodajes son un poco guilty pleasure.

[TEMPORADA 1] ▪︎ 77 | 100 Esta serie es una muestra de que la paciencia premia, desde du anuncio y ver a la gente involucrada ciegamente dije ¡SÍ! Armando Ianucci y Sam Mendes, vi el estreno y para mal me había parecido MUY soso, y vi que no era como tal una creación directa de la mente detrás de Veep sino de Jon Brown, para mi un desconocido, pero le di el beneficio de la duda, pero oara mi alivio conforme va avanzando la serie se vuelve mejor y mejor, más ácida, con muchos golpes bajos, pareciendo llevar una lista e ir tachando las situaciones desde los cameos, la publicidad encubierta, directores con el espíritu roto por el estudio, problemas y crisis de franquicia, de ahí que tenga su mayor logro al ser tan crítica pero a la vez es su kriptonita por que si no eres muy clavado no vas a entender para nada estas situaciones que son muy de nicho. Respecto a los personajes pues a veces tienen chispa o te saben indiferentes, para mi lo mejor de LEJOS es Daniel Brühl su papel como el director y con experiencia perteneciendo ya a una franquicia como el MCU le dota de más jugo a su personaje. Eso si viendo el episodio 8 me vengo enterando que es el último de la temporada, hasta meterme a IMDb y verificar porque NO se siente como un cierre, muy mal hasta parece que se le pegó esa manía al mismo Ianucci. Pero aparte de eso creo que costó meterse a la propuesta pero las risas que te saca conforme avanzas no tienen desperdicio.

That was a lot of fun. I really hope there’s a season 2.
