They desperately need to bring Genndy Tartakovsky back for another Star Wars show
OG Clone Wars still slaps. Animated action as only Genndy Tartakovsky is able to deliver it. The knighting ceremony scene is goated. Sets up Revenge of the Sith perfectly.

Finally watched this in a whole. Great 2 hour movie and endlessly more enjoyable than any of the sequels.
The last 10 minutes are the best when it closes the gap to part 3 perfectly what the later clone wars didn’t do but now I know the reason why.

Has extremely little amounts of character development, the show will sometimes go 10 minutes without dialogue, and the characters are dry as hell and somehow they make it work

A fun little micro series. Doesn’t really do much, there is very much a lack of character development, but it does what it was made to do, delivers non-stop action. The clones are so fucking hard in this.

Nothing amazing about this show because there's very little focus on plot or characters, but it's undeniably a good time. Just lots of battles and duels back to back to back, and I couldn't help but enjoy it. And the animation is really cool.
Season 1
Decided to watch this because it’s so short. In my Star Wars era again. It’s honestly underrated, animation and design is cool, it’s just fun, short action.

Season 2
I think that general grievous in this show rivals Vader on sheer intimidation level and might even be more intimidating. This was before we saw Vader easily killing Jedi and this was the first time we saw Jedi be killed super easily and nonchalantly and it was awesome
Season 3
Nothing spectacular, but this was a very enjoyable season. I like how it connects to Episode III, the battles are fun, and Grievous steals the show. Really fun.
For two hours of content, great animation, constant fun action and the best representation of Grievous across the franchise this was a lot of fun.
+ Anakin vs Ventress was so great so so so great + prequel score 😮💨
Season 2
I love how they show Jedi actually use their full powers, like that Mace Windu “episode” he was wiping out 40 droids with one force motion. Great shit. Love seeing him in action too.

I never knew how short this was, always wanted to watch it at some point as I’d seen clips of it, cool animation just mindless fun action really. The stuff to do with Ventress was sick and Obi-Wans battle with Durge was great not sure if Durge is canon or not but he’s op.
Season 2
I love how threatening they made Grievous.

Season 2
Another great season! Definitely a bit better than the first since you get stuff like Grievous and Anakin vs. Ventress. The middle arc with the lightsaber place was mediocre though, so that brings it down. Still, I really enjoyed this.
If peak was a Star Wars show, it would be this impeccably raw stylish beautiful masterpiece from Genndy Tartakovsky.
