Season 1-4 were awesome in how dirty, low-budget and raw they were but I couldn't keep going on because, even with subtitles, the slang and the accents formed a really resistant language barrier that made me unable to broke and follow the dialogues.

Didn’t like the plot of most of the episodes but holy shit that last episode
It was fun for the first like 5 seasons and then all the best characters left and I didn’t really care for the story anymore
The structure of the show is all over the place and some characters for some reason just disappear, another thing that was annoying was them sidelining the Gallagher family for the Maguires, the things the UK version does better than the US version is the humour and that it feels way more realistic.

Overhated show, always rewatching this it’s just so good, every character from season 1 to season 11 is great and the ending isn’t rushed it’s good and is a sort of happy ending, I liked it more than the usa one which is an unpopular opinion but this just is better in every way

Beyond the Frank scenes, that border on unwatchable due to how icky he makes me feel, it’s a really heartwarming show that feels well-lived in.
