Recommended Horror K-Drama. Kim Taeri's performance is great 👻👍

Honestly, I only watched this because of Kim Tae-ri, and she never fails to impress me. This is probably my favorite performance from her. The way she depicts not one, but two different characters amazes me. I like how she manages to show how different Sanyeong and the ghost are just through her eyes. And the spectrum of both characters are so wide that I just can't imagine how hard it would be to pull off that kind of performance. It makes her character very relatable. Her expressiveness also gives a great contrast to Oh Jung-se's seriousness. And speaking of him, I also love the charisma that Oh Jung-se brings and his dynamics with Tae-ri. For a non-romance show, Hong Kyung's chemistry with Tae-ri is also on fire.

As for the plot itself, it started really slow, but it manages to pick up real quick once we dive into the mystery. The mystery is really engaging, with a lot of twists and turns that make it more interesting. I also love how the show tackles the everyday ghosts that we, humans, live with. It's not just one; we live with a lot of ghosts. It's what is in the physical world that is really scary; the societal issues, our personal struggles, etc. This show uses that metaphor very simply but also very effectively.

Additionally, I love the creativity of this show, especially in some scenes like episode 8, with Hae-sang in the university and the use of red lighting in that scene, and episode 12, with San-young and the use of green lighting in that scene. The editing and cinematography is just so effective in bringing us into the headspace of these characters. 

I also love how the score sets up the mood of the show. There's one particular score in here, I think it's the theme, where it starts sounding melancholic-like but then it becomes very thrilling real quick. It captures both the tragedy of these character, the horror they are living with, and the mystery they are solving.

Anyways, I am not familiar with Korean cultures, folklores and traditions, so I love how this show gives us a glimpse into the richness of their culture.

The way this show ended in such a warm note, I love it. It was as if I felt a tender touch by a human being. It's that kind of warmth.

There's a lot more I could say about this show, but I can't squeeze my mind further, so I guess I'll end by saying that I will definitely follow Kim Tae-ri's career wherever it goes because she's just that great of an actress.

4.25 this was was actually really fucking good especially when i actually paid full attention to it lol. it was scary and unnerving with a good mystery element. i actually felt really bad for the evil ghost and kinda wanted to root for her like omg what happened to her was horrific. i also like the class elements of the show and how wealth was the driving force behind creating that evil. kim tae ri was scarily good here like wow
