Reviews for Love & Death

Painfully average television. Sure, Olsen turns in a solid performance. As a matter of face the entire cast does but the issue here is that this true story just isn’t that interesting. Even the court drama aspect of it is just fine. Nothing memorable. There is not one remarkable thing about th

Lead the way for HBO to flop this year. (Kidding! I hope not.) While Love & Death is backed up by some good performances of Elizabeth Olsen, Jesse Plemons, Lily Rabe, it cannot conceal the fact that it is enveloped by dull writing. The first three episodes are just messy and plain. The trio couldn

Im going to say, it i like candy more.

If I wanted a housewife that wants more thrills, I would rewatch Sex Life on Netflix. But Elizabeth Olsen gives her character charm and emotion even if the writers didn't. Ale makes it worth a while

Olsen and co. are all doing their best to elevate this, quite frankly, overdone true story. Love the '70s vibes, but it all feels far too familiar to say anything new about this case.

Olsen is in fine form, and I love the small-town costume design, but a lot of this is just flat. how are you gonna make a show about a murder but not commit the crime until the end this was a whole lot of nothing season two better have some density

I watched for elizabeth olsen, but this wasn't worth it.

A little like if Fargo was boring as shit and featured a Toto song for no reason

Candy was much better. This was a rare example of an HBO show that didn’t feel like it matched HBO standards. Olsen and Plemons were superb, as always, but this paled in comparison to Jessica Biel’s representation of the material. Makes you think how deserving she is of her own film project consi

Bring back Sorry For Your Loss you cowards

watched for elizabeth, her acting is insane i love her so much

Some good performances in a true time show that was so a part of an oversaturated trend that it was not even the first to be made about this exact case. I legit forgot to watch this for like a month. It ended up not very memorable in the long run.
