2024 Anime/Animation Ranked OKAY! NETFLIX COOKED WITH THIS!! Besides the first 3 episodes being kind of slow and meh. When it got to the 4th episode it started to pick up and the world building, character development, writing, st

This is like a true successor to Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Dont cancel this Netflix!!

NEW PEAK CARTOON JIST DROPPED 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 ive been so hype for this show ever since i found out about it last year & it most DEFINITELY lived up to that hype!!! the animation, soundtrack, and story were all straight fire (pun fully intended 🤭). some standout fav characters for me were of course the

Flawless television tbh. Such great storytelling, very complex characters, banging soundtrack, gorgeous visuals, perfectly paced and structured. It's everything I want a tv show to be. Recommend it to everyone

A show about a girl fighting demons and monsters isn't new, but it's about the presentation, and Jentry Chau vs the Underworld has a great presentation. Memorable characters, fantastic action-packed animation, and an amazing coming-of-age arc.

why do animated shows based on chinese mythology always fucking kill it???

A really great show from the animation, to the story, to the soundtrack. I will admit the first 4 episodes are rather meh but it picks up A LOT by episode 5 and makes sitting through those first 4 episodes extremely worth it. Really hope we get a season 2 so we can see more of this world.

Jentry Chau vs. Good Writing A show with a lot of great ideas (but poor execution) and extremely frustrating character writing.

I personally went into this show expecting a fun, lighthearted action comedy with maybe some heavy dramatic moments, but nothing that couldn’t be offset by a lighthearted ending. BOY, did I eat crow on that one. Jentry Chau vs. the Underworld belongs to that now sadly rare genre of shows that I ca

Another teen supernatural show for the 2020s and man, I got mixed feelings on this. The animation and art direction is great. Unlike shows similar to it like American Dragon and Juniper Lee, it's heavily all plot based and quickly really dives into the consequences of how this type of plot can affe

netflix better keep this show going i’m already hooked and i need more episodes IMMEDIATELY!! i really love the art style and ofc my favourite is ed i mean bowens voice is just great for him this was so cool from start to finish and i really hope we get to see seasons of development

Starting to watch this, as most of my mutuals who did watch this, were loving it and I wanted to see if it was worth the hype. So far, it’s pretty much the spiritual successor to Owl House and other shows of its type before and after its release, but with strong Asian representation and a lot more

8.3-8.4/10 Wait holy shit this show is fire?! The first 3-4 episodes I was not really into it. Thought the humor and music were pretty bad but from that episode on each following one kept wowing me more and more. The plot became more and more interesting. The characters and their relationships got

It's been a while since we got a tv cartoon with an overarching plot so I'm crossing my fingers Netflix decides to continue Jentry Chau! TBH, IT DEFEATED ANY AND ALL EXPECTATIONS. Seriously, nothing could've prepared me for what this show brings to the table, it's amazingly weird but touching , at

+ Nice artstyle and presentation looks high quality in general. Kinda felt like an older cartoon that’d be on Disney Channel, but ends up having some darker horror-esque vibes to it than expected + Last few episodes are noticeable step up from the rest imo - Wasn’t really liking it at first and the

Honestly? Mixed feelings on this one. I was a little disappointed that it wasn't as excellent as I was hoping. The good parts are undeniably amazing and badass, while the parts of it that were not so good REALLY hang over its existence, mostly the romance and the zoomer humour killed some of the ten

One of the best new shows I've seen in a while. Engaging, relatable, and surprisingly horrifying; like how is this rated Y7???????????????

PEAK TELEVISION IF YOU ASK ME loved this season so much, especially the characters but I still feel like there's things that could've been done better, I don't really like how underused Stella was, how they treated Kit in eps 9 and 10, and we don't even know why Michael has powers to begin with lol

like so many shows, this one started off a bit slow, but it’s just getting better and better. i’m on episode 9 and i can’t wait to see how the story develops.

Jentry Chau Vs The Underworld is not only the best show of the year, but one of the best shows I’ve ever seen. It is incredibly fun & action packed, gory, and amazingly animated. Ali Wong & Bohen Wang give the roles of their life, and the same goes to the cast. I can’t say this enough, I love the a

It was a totally great show with a girl named Jentry Chau who has magic fire/dark magic and uses them to protect her world and saved her friends and family. Jentry reminds me of Avatar Korra on many levels. There were a lot of shocking, emotional and spectacular moments. It was a lot to take in with

a wholesome animated tv show about, Love, Friendship & Destiny/faith. It also brings that 90's nostalgia, with the design & the tone/message. p.s the soundtrack is really good!

Straight up nightmare fuel!
