why is it acceptable for heteros to have a fuckload of cheesy fantasy shows with awful cgi but as soon as its lesbians it's not acceptable anymore i enjoyed it!!! its fun!! its cute!! and it reminds me of the fantasy shows i enjoyed as a teen and what i would give to have gotten a show like this

Somehow better than I thought but that doesn’t mean it’s amazing. It’s got the teen troupes and cheesy dialogue that people come to expect but what makes it good is the world they have built and continue to build with the lore of vampires, hunters, and monsters.

watched sober this time around and still had a blast! rewatching in full the same week it dropped plus fucking up the algorithm for everyone by super liking it on the netflix account my entire extended family shares is the real gay agenda.

The show really doesn't do a very good job introducing how much more high-concept its world is than it appears to be at first, and that's definitely not the end of its sloppiness. But it promises teen drama and vampire nonsense, and it does those parts quite satisfyingly.

netflix please don't cancel this one i am begging you let us have ONE wlw show with multiple seasons
