Reviews

objectively it’s not better than season 1 but i loved it, and thought it had a great conclusion so i’m giving it some extra points

really loving this route. shirou is written much better than his 2006 counterpart, and the story is shaping up very nicely.

Top-notch production goes without saying. But what's really cool is the focus given to storyboarding and visual composition that adds to the mystical, immersive feel. Fights aren't just highly rendered sakuga set against a dull background, they actually have engaging choreography. All that helmed by

Sure I enjoyed watching this , justified ending with absolute great production... Rating:8.5/10

Unlimited Tedium Works A show of derivative stakes and archetypal characters without a tinge of profundity in their constantly bloated monologues and lame theatrics. The first season was conceptually interesting—a battle royale between heroes called from different times, both past and future—but th

I've been visually assaulted

good show i'm excited for the rest of fate

Ufotable done absolute justice with this show Rating:9/10

That finale was truly immaculate, easily better than Fate Zero S1 not that it was bad or anything. Curious to see if S2 will be as perfect as Fate Zero S2 was.

Everything that made the first cour decent is gone. If season 1 was able to mask its incompetency by presenting a decent succession of visual splendour and interesting world building, then season 2 is a full on exhibition of dull theatrics and pacing issues that had always laid hidden in the underbe

Well as far as adaptations go this absolutely sucks, like nothing good about it at all. But when looking at it as just a show and not an adaptation it’s cool ig

Overall solid first season. I appreciate the less ensemble cast feeling, with more focus on the protagonist throughout. Plug there was the fantastic production quality, engaging story, and enjoyable characters. I do wish it had more Gilgamesh scenes though 💔

Doing both seasons in one since I believe that they are honestly equally good. This is honestly the best adaptation of a Fate series and definitely the best adaptation of a Stay Night route. Everything is done pretty well. Not much more I can say about it.

Ughhhh. I’m trying to get back into anime, not put myself off it even more! The premise of this show is one that raised my eyebrow, but those ones tend to end up being the best ones. However, by the end of it all it crumbles into a complete mess. I’ve already reviewed season 2 and explained why that

Well this fell off. I’ll have to lower my score for Season 1 from a 7 to a 6. I gave it a 7 because I expected Season 2 to be better but holy fuck, I didn’t know how quickly I’d lose interest. This show has a nasty habit of presenting completely OP characters only to kill them off by nerfing them.

Compared to fate zero this is not that engaging, fate zero has better character, and great development Let's see how the second season goes Rating:7/10

My eyes have been blessed, this is the most visually stunning piece of media I think I have ever seen :)

Weirdly better than the VN, Shirou is way more sympathetic and less annoying. His chauvinistic ways are gone. The animation is very well done, fights included. The “twist” so far is handled way with more subtlety. (Don’t google if you don’t know what i’m talking about)

Still tied with Gurren Lagann as my favorite anime. The way the narrative is structured and concludes makes this series have such a powerful narrative that reminds me of superhero stories. Unintentionally addressing the hypocrisy with superhero narratives but their timeless potential to overcome any

Rin is literally best girl .

This show really makes me *feel* like just because I'm correct doesn't mean I'm right!

UBW better than Heaven's fell. Easily my favorite anime oat as a fan of fate franchise

I don't know if this is blasphemy but I preferred Fate Zero over this it still good and has some great moments (mostly when Gilgamesh shows up) but over all not as epic as Fate Zero in my opinion.
