Me watching this again was not random. I watched Civil War and then again to affirm my opinions so I thought which Garland project should I revisit, and this is the first one I thought of so here we are.
My absolute nerd comment is that it's a fundamental quantum concept that the radioactive decay of any single particle is a completely random and fundamentally unpredictable event. Feels like something a quantum physicist would know.

A full-on dialogue driven episode is a welcomed change of pace. Katie's argument for determinism was a fantastically acted scene even though I'm not totally sold on the philosophy itself. I'm not sure that the she's even meant to be correct within the universe of the show anyways.

That emerging subplot about Lyndon i
