This silly and typical prom episode turned out to be one of the best and most emotional of the show. I absolutely love it. Jonathan giving the trophy and recognition to Buffy for being the "class protector" means a lot more after Buffy saved his life.

awww I love Giles and Buffy’s father-daughter relationship. the classic “you want to get ice cream later” 🥹 and Buffy getting the class protector award from JOHNATHAN 🥹💔

mayor sucks but he was spitting about bangel being doomed also faith is too hot to be such a loser this is so unfair
