Am I alone in thinking this season felt almost like it was a joke? Episodes 3 and 4 were genuinely amazing, but beyond that it feels like no effort went into the season in terms of writing. Some of the choices and the pacing were so shockingly bad that they could be played off as gags by the writers

Very difficult season to judge based on the series finale. That episode by itself brings the entire package down considerably. Still, the first half is fantastic and has great episodes and moments littered throughout all four chapters, but the back half and the decisions made in the plot do not sit

wonderfully jarring and tense in all of the right places. i’m more into the first half of this season, but the unsatisfying second half is still refreshing and undeniably an interesting, fitting way to end a show that’s always been a little off-beat. and this manages to match s3’s dramatic energy. h
