The Owl House pulled off a very difficult task and managed to deliver an absolutely wonderful ending despite only having 3 finale specials to work with instead of a full season. I only wish we could’ve gotten more, will miss these characters so much 😭

I feel incredibly conflicted about season three of The Owl House. The first episode is basically perfect. Its pacing is phenomenal, the character development is amazing, and the plot progression is great. So much happens in this episode, its easily a contender for best episode of the whole show.

I'm not going to lie. I think the ending kind of dropped the ball. A lot of cathartic moments and definitely the symptoms of a shortened runtime due to Disney. Which is a shame. I have kind of forgotten everything that happened here but I think I'll always look back at the season premiere fondly.
