Stephen King is always convincing and together with Brendan Gleeson a really gripping and exciting series is created. Which unfortunately are dragged into the dirt by the two following seasons.

Love Brendan but I missed one season and then was put off of watching again 💔 Madman

well that was brutal

Chilling and dark in kind of the best way. I didn’t have it in me to log each episode because I consumed season one so quickly after reading the book. I like and dislike some changes to the story but honestly the performances are pretty top tier and I really like they introduced music as a main char

I quite enjoyed S1 of Mr. Mercedes. So much so that I immediately started watching S2. Brendan Gleeson is great as Bill Hodges and those providing supporting roles around him are quite good as well. This may be one of my favourite Stephen King novel-to-series adaptations.

Not as good as the book, but still pretty fun. I hope they continue the books in order, but I’m not sure that’s likely.
