Season 4 of The Good Place started off very weak but the second-half really exceeded expectations. A perfect, beautiful conclusion. Among lucky shows to end it right.

A parody, an homage, an epilogue, a spiritual sequel, a reincarnation that is as clever and poignant as its inspiration yet can very much stand on its own. Oh, and it's funny as fork, too.

Season 3 of The Good Place opens with a rushed montage and closes with the usual bow. Weird pacing but nevertheless entertaining. And I love Janet so much.

I was too harsh on this season when it first came out. Sure, it’s not as amazing as the first two, but it is still such a great and unique season of sitcom television. I appreciate it so much more after rewatching it.
