This might have the worst plot to any episode of all time. Let’s recap - Our main cast wants to have sex with aliens, literally their only motivation for doing anything this episode. - We land on a planet of H**ler Utopia where white people with blond hair and blue eyes run around half naked. -

leaving a teenager alone with strangers on an alien planet so you and your coworkers can go have an orgy is crazy

trash (affectionate). you tried, tng, you tried. “wesley falls into a flowerbed and faces the death penalty” is such a funny plot point it almost makes up for me having to sit through it.

These S1 writers REALLY liked to include Wesley in everything more than anyone else.

I had been warned about this episode on multiple occasions, and sure enough it’s pretty bad. There was a germ of an idea that had potential, but this has been our fourth space-deity/entity episode in a row, and it’s getting old. Also, FUCK OFF with the race of Horny White people. I have never see

One of those episodes that offers the hope of seeing Wesley Crusher murdered, only to dash those hopes against the rock! A decent idea and exploration of the Prime Directive in some parts but it’s so inconsistent and ultimately not that well executed.

Uncomfortable

Even worse than I remember. The one where Wesley falls on a plant and is sentenced to death. The costumes and wigs are egregious.

Another one of the truly *awful* episodes, we not only get the weirdly sexual space hippies, but also the bold idea of trying to make us give a damn about Wesley, while also shoehorning in another weird energy being that poses as God. Weird how they had multiple versions of this same gimmick.
