was genuinely disappointed when i saw i only had ten minutes of this episode left. i would have gladly watched part two had there been one! julian is shaping up to be one of the most fascinating characters on the show and i love his dynamic with garak. andrew robinson should’ve been a regular.

Probably as close to my ideal holodeck episode as we're gonna get. High stakes are a buzzkill, but even with that the genre pastiche is played mostly straight. Avery Brooks does a good Bond villain. Does Cardassia not have absurd spy fiction?

What a fantastic episode, the entire cast is amazing, love the music, the sets, the vibe, one of DS9's best.

Without a doubt the best holodeck episode as it unapologetically commits to the premise and its ridiculousness. Had a huge grin on my face throughout the entire thing.

I love a good holosuite ep and this, surely, is a good one. Contrived reason the holosuite game is now life or death? Check. Members of the crew as characters in the game? Check. Self aware James Bond influence?? Check baby. A lot of fun.

Love a good Bond parody and love a good Bashir and Garak episode, even if the episode doesn't get all of its use from the concept.
