This is the season where the show really hit its stride. Every episode is hilarious and there are no episodes that are easily forgotten (unlike a couple in the first season). Brilliant show although the drama with Gavin and Stacey is a bit unnecessary I guess it served some purpose though. Favourit

Justifies it’s existence more than you’d expect it to, especially with that brilliant finale and special.

Weaker than season 1 the whole gav and stace marital problems was a weak plot point but still very funny

This season contains so many comedy moments and it’s the season where the show hits its stride. So memorable moments.

I don’t think it’s as good as the first in my opinion, but the humour was still good throughout most of the season. I think the pacing was a lot slower with the story evolving a lot less, but that’s to be expected.

Not as good as the first season but still decent. A couple of really funny episodes. The conflict between Gavin and Stacey was quite forced; the characters acted differently to force drama.

It’s all just a bit meh. These two are so bloody incompatible and clearly rushed into a relationship they don’t want. She’s naive and indecisive, he’s a dickhead that doesn’t think about her feelings. Maybe I’m stating the obvious but the show isn’t setting this up as the resolution. It’s hardly t

Season 2 has a change of focus but continues to be as funny as ever. Whilst the disputes between Gavin & Stacey are not the most fun to watch, there is no denying how brilliantly it is done. The first and last episodes are fantastic and Bryn is just hilarious. How the show holds the highest standard

The welsh characters are done spot on, because 90% of us yap and yap about random anecdotes, knowing full well the other person couldn't give a shit

Better and worse than season 1. Gavin and Stacey have definitely become worse but the other characters especially Smithy and Nessa are better this season so kind of balances each other out.
