Started watching this with my niece ages ago. A bit annoying at times, but for the most part it was pretty cute. Good messages and stuff.

i live in such a state of constantly being surrounded by cynicism and negativity that i literally can not stop myself from crying when the ponies are nice to each other

Aside from season 1 and 8 which are varying levels of weak links, this show is cute and lovable, and very comfy to watch in any mood.

MLP is a show that explores a lot of messages over the seasons, but there are 3 themes in particular that I feel like define the series as a whole. (The obvious one) The theme that friendship is something magical and should always be cherished, the theme of accepting change, and finally the theme of

slightly weaker season and so short in comparison but still so iconic

honestly i feel the same way about this season as i do about season 7. i really like the friendship school and i love the "young six", especially yona and ocellus! my fave episodes were grannies gone wild, molt down and a rockhoof and a hard place. the finale for this one felt a bit messy too lmao.
