Reviews for American Manhunt: The Boston Marathon Bombing

Really enjoyed those first two episodes, stylishly presented and engaging narratively. That final episode though, with all its self-flagellating “LOOK AT HOW GREAT AMERICA IS” bollocks, really put me off.

Excellent for gaining backstory and behind-the-scenes insight into the Boston Marathon bombing. I would have replaced the final episode with a retrospective honoring the lives of those lost and showing future marathons going strong.

tense as hell from start to finish. even though you know what happened, the way this breaks it down—minute by minute, angle by angle—makes it feel like you’re living through it in real time. the chaos, the fear, the absolute insanity of the manhunt… it’s all laid out with so much detail it’s almost

high 4/5 Extremely good, captures all of the emotions. I highly recommend this if you haven’t seen it. I doubt many crime documentaries could match the intensity of episode 2, it’s a must watch

one of the better ones i've seen, i never know how to rate these but i was intrigued the whole way.

Dude, the man who memorized his GPS number is a literal legend.

interesting watch, made me realize i really did not know shit about the bombing until i watched this so wikipedia rabbit hole here i go

Incredible docu series that shows the evolution of events in chronological order with only the tangent of the terrorists backstory being explored at the time the investigation finally found out who they are. Shows in great detail the madness that endured for a week, and the motion graphic work on

Running and true crime are two of my favourite interests; but each documentary I've seen on this have been very uninteresting, no change here. Maybe I just find bombers/bombings a dull subject in true crime.

I usually love these overdramatic documentaries, but this one has just too much american law enforcement porn.

Scary stuff

Minha mente meio que apagou algumas memórias do atentado, então quando fui relembrando fiquei com ódio de novo do acontecimento.

Compelling watch. Not enough focus on the reckless gun fights, but otherwise very solid.

Danny Meng is a true hero!

well done doc; however, it is insane that the cops are acting like they’re the ones who saved the day when it was really danny meng who risked his life to escape and the guy who called about his boat… also, i’m genuinely shocked that this didn’t end with more of a spotlight on the victims and the f

my brother and i are so invested in this 😭

There wasn’t anything new that was already learned back when the Boston Marathon bombings happened. I believe this was made because of people that don’t know fully well of the case or even for the younger generation that want to learn what happened that week.

bitches

No esperaba nada, no conocía la historia, es un excelente documental

was on the edge of my seat and genuinely had to finish ASAP once i started
