For an anime about cooking fantasy creatures, this episode goes really hard.

This episode switches between comedy and horror extremely well with a plethora of dynamic shots. Nobutoshi Ogura’s storyboarding perfectly shines with this material; what an exciting return after six years, honestly.

They didn’t eat anything this episode 😢

ooohhhhhh the way this adaptation's animation not only perfectly depicts the goofy, cartoon antics of our heroes' efforts to kill the dragon, but also the gut-renching emotion and genuinely disturbing scenes of gore and dismemberment.... it's so good....

What a banger episode whoooo. The animation went so hard and the action was great :D And just as I was saying how much of a fun comfort show this is they pull that ending out :/
