Easily the best episode of the anime. The fight between Kaiju No. 8 and that other humanoid kaiju was really cool. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens in the next episode now that Hoshina has found No. 8 himself.

Fantastic episode all around. The use of music, writing, animation, and of course, the fight scenes. This was fun.

Whoaa! This is exactly what I want. Dark and serious, even still there's a comedy element, but it's quite effective. And the cliffhangers!!!

Great episode, the fight between Kafka and the other Kaiju was ok if not a little underwhelming but the end made up for it 100 percent. Reno and Iharu fighting the Kaiju was good especially when Reno got blasted with the finger blasts. I'll rate this episode a 7.5/10.

Man this show is really pushing the believability of how much damage these people can take. Ichikawa and Furuhashi got turned into Swiss cheese and were still responsive. If the show sticks with this tone and style, we might be in for a really solid anime but if it reverts to that dumb humor that was present in a majority of the first six episodes then we are in for something that is average at best

If this show is going to operate at this level for the rest of the season I’ll be really impressed! The first few episodes gave me a well done vanilla and I was enjoying that, but this was well done with some really crisp animation and has some great set up for next episode.

Incredible. Absolute best adaptation from the manga so far, the eyes of everyone took a drastic turn I heavy moments this episode. The sheer intensity of the situations created by this inevitable clash are perfect. I hope this lasts til the end of the season.
