AUDIBLY GASPED AT THE FIGHT IN THIS ONE WOAHHH ohhh I’m a sucker for creative locations for fight scenes but THIS IS INSANE INCREDIBLE SM FUN

Someone was smart and decided to not have Scott as the main character and I really like that. Changing the whole idea of its adaptation into an anime but with a vastly different narrative is very nice and gives something new to the world and characters.

Another beautifully animated fight scene, great music and now definitely has the classic Scott Pilgrim vibe, I also like that Scott Pilgrim isn’t the main character, we’ve seen that before, good choice

Man I forgot my rating but I think it was a 6 or 6.5, this was the first episode of the show I really enjoyed, I had such a banger review written out but I lost it so you're stuck with this. MF DOOM reference and JoJo reference carry the episode.

Idk how the rest of the series is gonna go but having the supporting characters(mainly Ramona) take the spotlight as the main character is awesome. The relationship stuff with Roxie was actually surprisingly well written and the fight scenes just get better and better every episode somehow
