strong 4.5 but another amazing season that somehow works with a similar structure the first 6 seasons followed . Nearly every episode was solid and this season pays off and answers so many mysteries from the start off the series with a phenomenal final arc

This season was very consistent overall, I enjoyed almost every episode, but then you reach the Islands arc which is one of the best arcs I have ever seen in cartoons. Really great season again, another high 4.5 for me. I probably slightly prefer s7 but both are amazing and upon reflection I might move them both up to a 5 because I’m beginning to love this show so much.

Mostly about as good as the last season, but I think Islands ever so slightly pushes this one to my new favorite. This is so much of what I love about the show packed in yet another wonderful run of episodes. Quintessential comfort show stuff.

Islands is cool, if overrated. The non Islands episodes are pretty good too, as they're mostly part of one long story arc. Still a few duds here and there. Story arcs arc was nice

Not quite as good as last season, couple of bad ones in here and less really great episodes, but still really quite good overall I’m glad that they did another eight episode arc, it was really interesting, although I did prefer the Stakes arc overall 7.6/10

Maybe ever so slightly worse than S7 for me, but I still definitely love this. The overarching stories that these past few seasons have really elevated them in quality and memorability while not at all taking away from the individual episode quality. Islands was amazing obviously. Favourite Episo

there’s something evil about islands… like it was strategically made in a lab to make me feel really really terrible. the other eps were good too but nothing beats those last two eps tbh

Biggest full circle moment ever! This season really showed the “growth” of the show along with its audience. There were moments where I was half asleep not understanding what I was watching but overall, as with all the seasons I’ve watched so far, I’ve loved every bit.

Another amazing season that is good at what it does and we end up with a great closure of Finn's past, and by the way, we witness how this character and the entire series have evolved and changed ♥️
