Wasn't expecting to see Sabalom Glitz again Ace's 1st appearance! Already liking her after she dumped the milkshakes on those people's heads and casually carrying explosives A literal cliffhanger! But why would The Doctor purposely put himself in that position for no reason? Is he stupid?

this episode was mid narrative wise but it introduced me to ace and she’s the love of my life so it’s fine

Love the vibes here, and the worldbuilding cliffhanger is one of the funniest fucking things I have ever seen, what a fucking shambles, yet I'm so so glad it was

Okay this episode may not be the best but damn its a lot of fun, interesting villain, future plotines being set up, Ace being spectacular, the only thing I dont get and I need a 6 page essay on, why tf does the Doctor climb over that fence for no reason lol

ace is so fucking cool. i didn’t expect her first appearance to be on an alien planet, crazy that this can just happen to normal humans in this world. i’m also so glad that ace and mel got to meet, they have such a fun dynamic.

Thanks to my brother for watching classic Doctor Who with me!! These 3 episodes are honestly now 3 of my favorite TV episodes ever! I LOVE ACE!!! She’s fantastic!! I love the 80’s flair with the costumes (especially Ace and he incredible leather jacket w/ patches!!) :)))

In the space of ONE EPISODE, Ace has been given more depth than Mel has for her entire run. I'm not sure what to think about that...

A decent quest and it's great to have Glitz back one last time. However the plot itself is a bit boring to me and the cliffhanger makes no sense. Ace does make the story worth watching.

ace has one of the strongest companion introductions in the whole show. it’s almost embarrassing just how effortlessly she steals any and all worth mel had as a companion.

Was it always the plan to get rid of Mel for Ace or was she just so well received they dropped Mel I guess I’ll wait and see but either way i can’t wait to see Mel leave I’m sick of hearing her scream twice or three times an episode Most importantly Doctor, what was the point in that!!
